I have written several posts that one could say indicate the “seriousness” of God. But that’s not at all the only part of Him. There is so much to who God IS that it would literally take forever to scratch the surface of His personality. However, I want to share with you how funny God is.
Have you ever seen a platypus? They’re a mammal, but they lay eggs. They look kind of like a beaver…wearing a duck’s bill. How ridiculous! Yet they were created by our Living God, and they’re so funny to look at. How awesome is that?
Or, think about babies. How they make those cute faces – I even had one at work the other morning wiggle his eyebrows like some cheesy flirtatious “move.” I couldn’t help but laugh and laugh – and that comes from God.
We laugh everyday (or, at least, we should laugh everyday). Laughter is from the Lord. Check out Genesis 21 and the story of Abraham and Sarah…
Sarah said, “God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me.” And she added, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? Yet I have borne him a son in his old age.”
God brought Sarah laughter. How awesome is that??? What a funny God we serve!!

How awesome are you, that you give us things to laugh at. There is so much to who You are – and I want to know more. Thank you for laughter!!
